Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 11, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains what personal data Bumblebee ("we", "us") collects when you use askbumblebee.com (the "Service"), how we use it, and the choices you have. Privacy is a design principle of this product: we collect the minimum we need to run the Service.
1. Data we collect
- Account data. When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture from your Google account.
- Connected data. If you connect accounts such as a calendar or inbox, Bumblebee processes that data to provide briefs, scheduling, and follow ups. You choose what to connect and can revoke access at any time.
- Usage and diagnostics. We collect basic technical logs and error reports (via Sentry) to keep the Service reliable.
2. How we use your data
- to provide, maintain, and improve the Service;
- to authenticate you and secure your account;
- to diagnose errors and prevent abuse;
- to communicate with you about the Service.
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use your data to train shared or third-party AI models.
3. AI processing
Bumblebee uses AI models to generate summaries, suggestions, and drafts from the data you connect. This processing happens to serve your requests only. No action such as sending a message or booking a meeting is taken without your approval.
4. Service providers
We rely on a small set of processors to operate the Service: Supabase (authentication and database), Vercel (hosting), Google (sign-in), Cloudflare (DNS and network), and Sentry (error monitoring). Each processes data only as needed to provide their service to us.
5. Security and retention
Your data is encrypted in transit and at rest. We retain personal data only for as long as your account is active or as needed to comply with legal obligations. When you delete your account, we delete your personal data within a reasonable period.
6. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at the address below and we will respond within a reasonable timeframe.
7. Cookies
The Service uses strictly necessary cookies to keep you signed in. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
8. Children
The Service is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, communicated through the Service.
